Summary

Description
English: EDS was a 1978-1981 hypertext research project at Brown University by Steven Feiner, Sandor Nagy and Andries van Dam. The actual software ran on a VAX 11/780 and Ramtek display. This mockup was created circa 1980 by a RISD industrial design student to demonstrate how the software might be used in an portable electronic maintenance manual, with branches chosen by the technician or based on signals from a diagnostic probe.
