Neue Brennschneidtechnik in der Warnowwerft. Durch weitere Mechanisierung der Brenn- und Schweißarbeiten wollen die Arbeiter und Ingenieure der Warnemünder Warnowwerft die beim Bau der Kohle-Erz-Frachter benötigte Arbeitszeit für die Verarbeitung von einer Tonne Stahl von gegenwärtig 114 bis Ende des Jahres auf unter 100 Stunden senken, und damit dem Weltstand von 96 Stunden näherkommen. Das soll unter anderem durch den Einsatz von zwei weiteren automatischen Brennschneidmaschinen mit fotoelektrischer Steuerung erreicht werden.
