Description Looks a bit like I have asked this beautiful 8-wheeler to park up for a publicity photo, but it is hard at work delivering topsoil to Victoria Park. A chance encounter, spotting it purring down one of the cycle paths , I couldn't believe my luck. The fountain in the background was designed by Henry Darbishire in 1862, and built with funds supplied by Angela, Baroness Burdett-Coutts. Pevsner calles the style Gothic-Moorish. Darbishire also designed Holly Village in Highgate (where Burdett-Coutts herself lived at Holly Lodge) as well as several early Peabody estates of the 1860s in East and North London.
