English: Ray LaHood, United States Secretary of Transportation, applies low-VOC adhesive with a caulking gun at the construction site of the Habitat for Humanity Atlantic Avenue Apartments, 2331 Atlantic Avenue (between Eastern Parkway and Sherlock Place) in the in the Brownsville neighborhood of the borough of Brooklyn, New York City. The United States Cabinet and other senior administrators of the U.S. government did community service on 2009-06-22(2009-06-22) to promote the beginning of the 2009 "United We Serve" community service initiative.
