English: Image by confocal microscopy that shows how artificial nano fluorescently labeled are taken into the cell by LDL receptors and are found together in the cell's lysosomes. The first two images from the left show peptides (green) and lipids (red), in the nano-LDLs. In the third image both are merged. The yellow/orange color strongly suggest that the peptides and lipids are in the same places in the cell. The last image shows the localization of the lipids and peptides in the nLDL, the lysosomes, coloured in blue.
