Description HP 9100A calculator was introduced in March 1968 and sold for $4,900. The circuitry was discrete transistors because early integrated circuits consumed too much power. The HP 9100A is about 20 by 19 by 9 inches and weights 40 pounds.

Calculator displayed by Robert Rosenbloom at the Vintage Computer Festival . This was held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California, November 2007.
