English: Norfolk, Va. (Apr. 28, 2004) - Aviation Boatswain's Mate Handling 1st Class Darwin Soriano, of San Diego, Calif. shadows Capt. Andres Brugal, Executive Officer aboard USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), as he reviews special request chits with Cmdr. Bill Manders, the combat systems maintenance officer. Soriano is participating in Ronald Reagan's Executive Officer Shadow program, which provides an opportunity for individual crew members to work with the XO for a day. Ronald Reagan is conducting a 48-hour Fast Cruise to prepare for getting underway after completing a six-month Post Shakedown Availability period at Northrop Grumman Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Va.
