Częstochowa is known for the famous Pauline monastery of Jasna Góra, which is the home of the Black Madonna holy icon (Polish: Jasnogórski Cudowny obraz Najświętszej Maryi Panny Niepokalanie Poczętej), a shrine to the Virgin Mary.

Every year, millions of pilgrims from all over the world come to Częstochowa for pilgrimage.

The image was taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera and a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens.
