English: Rota, Spain (Apr. 9, 2003) -- Adm. Gregory Johnson, Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe, visits with a wounded U.S. Marine at Naval Station Rota’s Fleet Hospital Eight. The Admiral thanked wounded service members for their service in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom and presented each with his command coin. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein. U.S. Navy photo by Lt.
