Banknoten werden vernichtet!
Die Deutsche Reichsbank lässt von Zeit zu Zeit alte abgegriffene und beschädigte deutsche Banknoten einziehen und in ihrer Banknoten-Vernichtungsanstalt vernichten. Ehe das aus dem Verkehr gezogene Papiergeld zur Vernichtungsstelle gelangt, wird es von Beamten der Reichsbank genau registriert und dann in die Zerschneidemaschine geworfen. Die vernichteten Banknoten werden zur Herstellung anderen Papiers weiter verwendet.
Beamte der Reichsbank werfen das Geld in die Schneidemaschine. Man beachte den Anzug der Beamten, welcher auf dem Rücken geschlossen wird und vollständig taschenlos ist.
