Summary

Description
English: Printed broadside from August 1776 with statement by John Page, president of the Governor's Council of Virginia, and later himself Governor of the state following the Revolution, and warning of an imminent attack on the Virginia Colony by British forces. Page orders that the Virginia state militia be "Immediately trained, armed and prepared for action." Broadside printed at Williamsburg, Virginia. The LIbrary of Congress, Washington, D. C. [1]
