English: The parish church Saint John the Baptist (hl. Johannes der Täufer) in Ried im Zillertal, Tyrol, was built in 1773-79 and is protected as a cultural heritage monument. The fresco on the ceiling was created by Anton and Josef Schmutzer, as well as Franz Hueber from Innsbruck. It was painted in 1778.
Deutsch: Die kath. Pfarrkirche hl. Johannes der Täufer in Ried im Zillertal, Tirol, wurde 1773-79 erbaut und steht unter Denkmalschutz. Das Deckenfresko stammt von Anton und Josef Schmutzer, sowie Franz Hueber aus Innsbruck. Es wurde 1778 gemalt. Es zeigt die "Überbringung des Hauptes vom hl. Johannes an Herodias".
