Deutsch: Die Insel, Hannover, eine von mehreren zehntausend fortlaufend nummerierten Ansichtskarten des Verlages Stengel & Co. mit Sitz in Dresden und Berlin. Die Karte wurde laut Zudruck von Friedrich Astholz junior vertrieben. Der Lichtdruck zeigt die auch als "Leineinsel Klein Venedig" bezeichnete Insel am Zusammenfluß der beiden ehemaligen Arme der Leine. Von links für die ehemalige Sommerbrücke in der Verlängerung der Pferdestraße über die Insel und weiter in die Calenberger Neustadt. Der rechts zu sehende Leinearm wurde nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg zugeschüttet zur Anlage der Straße Leibnizufer; anstelle der in der Bildmitte zu sehenden Gebäude wurde ein Parkplatz angelegt.
